Job summary

Matix Lumber Inc. is seeking an experienced manufacturing/construction operations professional with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training to map, analyze, and improve end-to-end business processes.

The role focuses on translating requirements into standardized workflows and ERP solutions, driving improvements from assessment through implementation. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional efforts across operations, supply chain, finance, and IT, collaborate on KPI development, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operational excellence in manufacturing or construction.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification; Black Belt/PMP considered an asset.
• Experience mapping and analyzing end-to-end AS-IS and TO-BE processes to standardize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across estimating, project management, procurement, inventory, production, site operations, job costing, invoicing, and customer service.
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes using Lean Six Sigma and root cause analysis to reduce waste and improve productivity, quality, and customer experience.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, templates, and KPIs to standardize work and measure results.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to translate requirements into standardized processes and ERP workflows; coordinate configuration, implementation, testing, and optimization.
• Facilitate workshops and employee training to support change adoption and data integrity.
• Engage leaders in continuous improvement and present business cases and project updates to senior leadership.
