Job summary

Fresh Prep is seeking an experienced People Leader to supervise multiple teams in a fast-growing production environment, including ingredient portioning and final assembly. You will define roles, set performance expectations, and mentor staff to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.

You will also drive budget and KPI alignment, plan production activities, and uphold food safety, GMPs, and regulatory compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience supervising productivity, efficiency, and process improvement in a food manufacturing plant setting.
• Two years experience developing direct reports and conducting employee performance management.
• Two years experience liaising with purchasing, production, quality assurance and human resource departments.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Automated processing, production and/or packaging line experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a variety of teams, including ingredient portioning and finished product assembly.
• Define roles and responsibilities and ensure performance expectations are understood.
• Mentor leads, runners and production associates; oversee training programs.
• Manage budget and KPI alignment for production departments and drive improvements.
• Plan production activities including labour scheduling and materials availability.
• Ensure food safety, GMPs, SOPs and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
