Qualifications
Completed High School required, with post-secondary education/courses an asset.
Experience working with children and youth in a wilderness environment.
Current Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard certification is valued.
Meet emotional, physical and safety needs of a group of youth.
Live in rustic cabins or yurts with a camper group.
Plan and deliver group programs, leading activities and camp-wide games.
Manage group dynamics to ensure camper safety and inclusion.
Follow YMCA Camping and BCCA accreditation standards in program delivery.
