A community-focused charity is seeking Riveredge Counsellors for Spring & Summer 2026. The role involves supervising and engaging campers in a safe, outdoor environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, proficient in communication, and have certifications in First Aid and CPR. The position offers opportunities for leadership development and training. Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age by December 31st, 2026.
• Experience facilitating inclusion in outdoor-based programs is preferred.
• Three professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for campers.
• Supervise campers at all times.
• Administer first aid care when necessary.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings.
• Plan and facilitate outdoor play-based learning activities.

Skills

Experience working with children

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification

Clear Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
