Placements24 is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their Kimberley facility. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure safety, accuracy, and timely shipping, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and solid knowledge of warehouse processes, with a focus on productivity, inventory control, and cost-efficient logistics in Kimberley.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, receiving and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff involved in receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Ensure productivity targets and efficient workflow in Kimberley center.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct stock checks to minimize discrepancies.
• Train and mentor staff, guiding performance and safety.
• Operate and manage warehouse equipment and maintenance.
• Contribute to operational improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities.
• Report KPIs and metrics to management.
• Coordinate logistics activities with other departments in Kimberley.
