Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing people.
• Experience developing UI systems and collaborating with UI/UX teams.
• Experience shipping a AAA game or multiple Live Ops releases.
• Proficiency in C++ and one or more scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of UI Engineers.
• Own the technical quality, delivery, and maintenance of core, UI tools and engine systems.
• Collaborate with UX, UI Art, and UI Tech Design to develop new tools, engine systems, and features meeting UI needs.
• Mentor and coach UI engineers to develop and maintain a high performing team.
• Identify and elevate technical risks to stakeholders and UI Tech Leadership.
• Collaborate with XD Tech Leadership to develop long term strategy for Apex UI tech.
• Collaborate with production to scope work and align roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Review code submissions to ensure standards and best practices are followed.
