Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in subcontractor quality assurance management in a complex engineering setting.
• Experience in industrial activities including repair/maintenance of ships or heavy equipment.
• Strong written and oral communication to all levels of the organization and subcontractors.
• Collaborates across business process groups and subcontractors.
• Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Black Belt/Six Sigma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulated industry standards; process improvement skills (LEAN, FMEA).
• Experience managing large data sets and proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support subcontractor QA activities per client contracts.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual, regulatory and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Manage NCRs with timely investigations, dispositions and CAPA.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Act as QA interface with stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Assist in audits and maintenance of ISO certifications.
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and risk reduction.
• Provide QA leadership and guidance to teams.
