Aecon Construction Solutions (ACSI) is seeking a Structural Superintendent for site-based roles across Western Canada. You will lead structural steel erection, prefabricated structures, and related installations, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality on industrial projects.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will review drawings, coordinate rigging and crane activities, manage subcontractors, and mentor forepersons and apprentices while upholding Aecon's inclusive culture.

Competenze

• Minimum 5+ years on-site construction with a focus on structural scopes.
• Proven supervisory or superintendent-level experience on industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience coordinating crane operations and heavy lifts.
• Commitment to safety and Aecon's zero-injury culture.

Mansioni

• Participate in bid review to validate constructability and labour productivity.
• Lead field execution of structural scopes including steel erection and bolting.
• Review drawings, shop drawings and specs to ensure accurate work.
• Oversee rigging, hoisting, and crane activities related to installations.
• Ensure alignment and leveling within engineering tolerances.
• Coordinate installation of platforms, stairs, railings and supports.
• Monitor QC processes for welding, bolting and connections.
• Collaborate with EHS to enforce safety programs.
• Act as construction lead with PM, Eng, QA, Labour Relations, Controls.
• Interface with clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Develop construction look-ahead schedules and align resources.
