Job summary

Element Fleet Management in Toronto seeks a hands-on Java/Spring technical leader to drive end-to-end solution delivery for Billing and Maintenance, across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers, including AI-enabled capabilities. You will guide vendor teams and align with enterprise standards to modernize operations and improve client experience.

The role requires 8+ years in software delivery and 3+ years of technical leadership, with deep AWS/Kubernetes experience, secure-by-design

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering production-grade software with backend API and cloud-native delivery.
• 3+ years in technical leadership guiding design and vendor teams.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery for Billing and Maintenance apps across frontend, backend, APIs/services, integrations, data layers, AI capabilities and vendor components.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering as a core practice to accelerate delivery.
• Coordinate with product, operations, QA, design, security, and vendors to align requirements and priorities.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability across solutions and enforce engineering standards.
