Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with strong patient care focus.
• VTNE eligibility or successful VTNE completion required.
• In good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
• Completion of a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and prepare patients, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Administer and monitor medications under direction of a Veterinarian.
• Provide leadership and operational oversight to the veterinary team.
