Beattie Pet Hospital – Stoney Creek is a busy hybrid veterinary hospital providing both general practice care and 24/7 emergency services. We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our fast-paced team.

The role involves 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, weekends, and nights in a collaborative environment. You will work in both general practice and emergency caseloads, assist with exams, procedures, surgeries, and monitor anesthesia.

Qualifications

• RVT with experience in general practice and emergency settings.
• Ability to assist with urgent and routine exams, procedures and surgeries.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide critical patient care.
• Respond to walk-in emergencies and high-acuity cases.

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who is confident, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency and general practice setting.

About The Role

• Work within both general practice and emergency caseloads
• Assist with urgent and routine exams, procedures, and surgeries
• Monitor anesthesia and provide critical patient care
• Respond to walk-in emergencies and high-acuity cases
• Perform diagnostics including lab work, imaging, and ultrasounds
• Advocate for patient care and support Fear Free handling principles
• Work closely with a collaborative veterinary team in a dynamic environment

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and nights
• Must be flexible and comfortable with emergency caseloads
