Job summary

Quinte Regional Pet Hospital in Belleville, Ontario seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). You will work at the top of your scope 75% of the time and dedicate 25% to leadership and operational duties to inspire the veterinary team.

The ideal RVT will have VTNE eligibility or completion, and a Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma. Join a team that values client care and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered RVT with VTNE completed or eligible.
• In-depth knowledge of assisting veterinarians with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
• Ability to prepare patients, instruments and equipment; monitor and administer medicines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
• Administer and monitor medicines under supervision.
• Provide leadership and operational support to the veterinary team 25% of the time.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care and client service.
