Kindera Living in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to coordinate resident-focused care under the Director of Care. You will promote our Home’s values, supervise PSWs, and ensure care aligns with the Resident Bill of Rights and CNO standards.

The role involves care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality outcomes for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
• CPR certification is an asset.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Must pass vulnerable sector check and TB test within required timelines.

Aufgaben

• Develop and modify care plans based on residents' health needs and changes in status.
• Liaise with other health care personnel, agencies and families.
• Supervise unit activities and mentor PSWs; lead as required.
• Transcribe and process physician orders per CNO standards; document accurately.
• Conduct unit rounds and ensure care is delivered with residents' rights in mind.
