Job summary

On Side Restoration is seeking an experienced Lead Remediation Technician to guide the team through asbestos and mold projects, coordinating with Project Managers, Adjusters and trades. You will lead on-site, ensure safety, and drive effective remediation from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in remediation, basic carpentry, strong communication skills, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach. On-call scheduling and 24/7 coverage are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Remediation Technician.
• Basic carpentry skills to build containment.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Physically fit with ability to lift and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to wear full PPE for duration of shift.
• Comfortable with cross training in Water, Fire, Emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Leading and providing direction to the team.
• Communicating with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ensuring a safe work area from asbestos and remediation.
• Identifying and disposing of asbestos contaminated materials.
• Identifying and disposing of mold contaminated materials.
• Cross training into water/fire emergencies.
