Job summary

Remediclean is seeking an experienced Abatement Project Manager to oversee asbestos, mould, and hazardous material remediation projects in Calgary, with responsibility for safety, budgets, and schedules. Office-based in Calgary, but site visits and coordination with clients and subcontractors are required.

The role requires strong leadership, solid knowledge of drawings and cost estimation, and familiarity with industry software and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing environmental remediation or construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, costing and estimating practices.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and hazardous materials regulations.
• Certifications related to asbestos abatement or environmental remediation are assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of asbestos, mould, and hazardous materials remediation projects.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and resources for project delivery.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and operational performance.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, change orders, and closeout packages.
• Facilitate safety briefings and promote a proactive safety culture.
