Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore Winnipeg is seeking a Lead Environmental Technician to lead mould, asbestos, and environmental remediation projects. You will supervise field crews, establish containment and air controls, and ensure work safety and regulatory compliance across diverse restoration efforts.

The role requires 3+ years in environmental remediation, an IICRC certification, a valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in environmental remediation or restoration.
• Experience leading field crews on remediation projects.
• Strong knowledge of mould remediation and asbestos abatement.
• Current IICRC certification (AMRT, WRT, or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead mould, asbestos, and environmental remediation projects.
• Establish and maintain containments and environmental controls.
• Set up and monitor negative air systems.
• Perform remediation and selective demolition activities.
• Ensure safety procedures and environmental regulations are followed.
• Train, guide, and support field crews.
• Complete site documentation and reporting.
• Lead water, fire, and emergency restoration as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response.
