Job summary

Mercury is seeking a senior product manager to lead the reconciliation platform for its Canadian operations. You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap, partnering with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to automate workflows and strengthen controls.

Drive cross-functional alignment, design scalable solutions, and ensure accurate financial data across Mercury’s money movement systems. Experience in reconciliation is not required if you bring strong platform instincts and technical fluency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience on technical platforms, data products, or complex systems.
• Strong systems thinking and emphasis on durable platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mercury’s reconciliation platform and its bank charter support.
• Partner with engineers to understand data movement, schemas, transformations, and failure modes.
• Collaborate with Product, Accounting, Finance, and Reconciliation Ops to set priorities and deliverables.
• Evolve the platform to scale, simplify integration, and enable cross-team benefits.
• Build tools to identify discrepancies, diagnose causes, resolve issues, and report accurately.
• Balance near-term needs with long-term platform leverage across the company.
