Tiree seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead sports and recreation facility projects in Alberta. You will manage end-to-end delivery from planning to construction, coordinating with clients, operators, and user groups to ensure on-time, within-budget outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong communication with public- and private-sector stakeholders, risk management, and transitioning facilities into operation with a focus on resilience and accessibility.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of project management experience delivering sports, recreation, or community facility projects.
• Experience with municipal, provincial, or broader public-sector clients is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with specialized facility systems (ice plant, pool, lighting, turf) is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, procurement, and site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver sports and recreation facility projects across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
• Manage delivery from planning/design through construction and upgrades.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, operators, and user groups to minimize disruption.
• Oversee consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and trades.
• Translate complex details into clear updates and reporting for clients.
