Job summary

Janicki Industries, located in Hamilton, WA, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet internal and external compliance requirements within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will develop and implement QA processes, analyze data for continuous improvement, and support audits and production with a focus on AS9100/QMS compliance. This on-site role requires strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Manufacturing experience, including composite fabrication with QA.
• Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develops, promotes, and executes quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports.
• Coordinates day to day activities of quality engineering and inspector staff in support of production.
• Retrieves, reviews, and analyzes QA data for driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performs statistical data analysis and identifies quality improvement opportunities.
• Performs root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitors the application of improvement initiatives.
• Reviews documents to ensure compliance with AS9100 or QMS requirements.
• Participates in audits and project work.
