Job summary

Loewen is seeking a capable shift leader to join its premium windows and doors production team. The role centers on running an efficient department, maintaining safety and quality standards, and meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and passion for continuous learning and personal development
• Ability to work independently (self-motivated)
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Good organizational skills and teamwork
• Simple math and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and processes focusing on safety, quality and efficiencies
• Manage daily targets
• Promote and lead in safety, quality, 5S, and Continuous Improvement
• Lead meetings as required
• Assist with problem solving and investigations
• Implement and sustain any new tools
• Support with time and attendance as required
• Act as a key person in the designated work area
• Ensure materials are available for use
• Keep leadership informed about planning, quality, personnel, safety and materials
