Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Georgetown, ON plant. You will lead a team of operators and technicians, directing daily production activities to maximize uptime, quality, and safety on the third shift.

You will supervise daily operations, ensure schedules are met, train staff, and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company policies. Strong leadership, SAP experience, and ERP familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in a production or food manufacturing environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to production workers, assigning tasks and meeting targets.
• Coordinate production workflows, monitor lines, and ensure materials and equipment availability.
• Ensure safety protocols and company policies are followed on all production processes.
• Conduct training for new hires and existing staff to maintain skills.
• Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback and corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections and testing.
• Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with QA and engineering teams.
• Maintain clean, organized production areas and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Document safety incidents and follow up with investigations or corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports.
