Insight Global in Burlington, Ontario is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. You will operate and set up press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, reads blueprints, performs quality inspections, and works independently while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating press brake machinery in a metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience in precision metal fabrication environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and tolerances.
• Experience in maintenance and machine upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up press brake machinery per drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.
• Use calipers, tape measures, angle gauges and other precision instruments.
• Complete tooling changes and machine adjustments.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel to meet objectives.
• Suggest ideas for process improvements and best practices.
• Bend materials from 20-gauge to 1/4-inch plate.
