Definity is seeking a Senior Portfolio Analytics Lead to co‑lead the central analytical engine for Personal Insurance. You will oversee performance monitoring, forecasting, and deep dive analyses to drive insights for Regional Portfolio Directors.

You will build a centre of excellence, mentor analysts, and partner with PI Directors to align analytics with strategic priorities. Excellent communication and leadership are essential in this role in a Canada hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of analytics, portfolio management, FP&A, pricing, actuarial, or insurance performance analysis.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing analytical teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring of Personal Insurance portfolio performance across all PI products and regions.
• Direct generation of actionable portfolio insights, guiding the team to explain drivers and trends.
• Lead a centre of excellence for portfolio analytics and manage analysts.
• Partner with Regional Portfolio Directors to align analytics with business priorities.
• Present portfolio recommendations to senior leaders with clear trade-offs and impacts.
