Economical Insurance in Canada is seeking a Senior Analyst, Analytics to provide forward-thinking analysis and direction to align and execute commercial objectives. You will review results and benchmarks, deliver KPIs weekly to stakeholders, and prepare divisional performance reports for board and regulators.

The role requires a degree in mathematics/science/business and 5+ years in P&C insurance, with advanced Excel, PowerQuery, Tableau, and BigQuery skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Math/Statistics, Applied Science, Business, or related program.
• 5+ years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.
• Advanced Excel, PowerQuery and Tableau; BigQuery experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial, portfolio, and market analysis using data mining and analytics.
• Lead data acquisition and collaborate with partners to develop insights.
• Deliver timely performance metrics to Commercial leadership and reduce reporting duplication.
• Identify improvements to data structures and automated reporting processes.
• Support planning, execution, and monitoring of Commercial Insurance initiatives.
