Job summary
ONxpress Civils in Toronto is seeking an experienced Civil/Urban Planning professional to lead permit and land-use coordination for the GO Expansion program, coordinating with AHJs, the client and cross-functional teams. You will forecast PLAAs, manage large data in Excel, use GIS to reference geospatial data, and ensure timely approvals while maintaining robust project files.

- Degree in urban planning or engineering
- 10+ years construction experience
- Rail transit construction is an asset
- Strong Excel and GIS willingness
Responsibilities
- Compile and track permit applications across AHJs
- Lead stakeholder engagement with tact and diplomacy
- Forecast PLAA and land requirements using project systems
- Track third-party metrics like PLAAs and approvals
- Reference geospatial data with GIS specialists
- Create and manage large datasets in Excel
- Support PLAAs on time per project schedule
- Review engineering plans to meet permits
- Ensure compliance with PLAAs and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate cross-functional communication
- Coordinate reporting to senior leadership and client
- Organize project files and improve processes
- Participate in technical meetings with AHJs and experts
