Job summary

Nortera, the North American reference in ready-to-cook vegetables, is seeking a Packaging Technician at our Strathroy facility. You will operate packaging lines, learn multiple machines, perform changeovers, and contribute to safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing, good mechanical skills, and strong communication. This on-site role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of packaging equipment and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Strong computer, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities and work independently.
• Regular lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be trained and required to operate different types of machinery to complete tasks.
• Train and provide direction to Packaging Technicians to maintain packaging lines.
• Organize and complete effective changeovers.
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment and perform preventative maintenance when required.
• Communicate with Operations Leaders to maintain production.
• Follow Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety protocols and report concerns.
