Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, is seeking Lead Operators to support the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-Time environment in Ontario.

Located in Palmerston and Stratford, Ontario, we offer starting wages of $20.55/hr with premiums, overtime after 40 hours, and shift premiums for afternoon and night shifts along with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or aptitude test.
• Willingness to bend, reach, lift and perform physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Compensation And Benefits

• Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $1 premium
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)
• Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums)

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or— successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Day Shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
