Job summary

TG Minto Corporation in Ontario is seeking a Lead Operator to support the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-Time environment. You will operate injection machines and assembly stations, follow work instructions, meet hourly quotas, and help train team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or successful completion of an aptitude test.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $1 premium
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)
• Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums)
