Qualifications

• 5 years of residential, wood frame, multifamily construction experience.
• Knowledge of building techniques, codes, and safety regulations for multi-story apartment buildings.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and architectural schematics.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong organizing and management abilities to meet deadlines.
• Decision-making and taking ownership.
• Commitment to safety and following SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Assess competency and provide training to tradespersons/crew.
• Assign and follow up on crew tasks.
• Coordinate with trade contractors for proper sequencing.
• Assist subcontractors in scheduling and provide direction.
• Collaborate with Site Superintendent on budget, schedule, and productivity.
• Identify, address, and resolve issues among crew.
• Set and maintain work standards and behavior expectations.
• Ensure crew compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support Site Superintendent in corrective actions.
• Recommend hires and promotions as requested by Site Superintendent.
