Job summary
BBA Consultants is seeking a Lead Mineral Processing Engineer for its Mining and Geology team. The role covers all project phases from prefeasibility to commissioning, leading cross-disciplinary teams, performing high-tech process simulations, and guiding equipment and process selections.
Strong leadership and communication are essential for client interactions and internal mentoring. You will oversee process plant design, cost evaluations, and technical reporting while contributing to business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mineral processing, metallurgy or chemical engineering.
- Registered as a professional engineer (P.Eng.).
- Over ten years of experience in mineral processing or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-discipline teams for cost-effective, safe, timely project delivery to meet client expectations.
- Review and approve process plant material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and technical specs.
- Prepare operating cost evaluations and liaise with clients on technical reports and presentations.
- Create and review proposals; mentor younger engineers and support business development.
