Job summary

Centerra Gold's Mount Milligan Mine in Fort St. James, BC, seeks a Supervisor, Mill Maintenance to lead maintenance teams and optimize reliability.

You will oversee technicians, welders, apprentices and contractors, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence. Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent, you will plan work, review CMMS data in SAP S/4HANA, manage backlogs, and drive root-cause analysis and PM optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years journeyperson or equivalent maintenance experience, with 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Mining, milling, fixed plant, or other heavy industrial maintenance experience is an asset.
• Current British Columbia Supervisor Certification, or ability to obtain.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or CMMS including work orders, backlog review and maintenance history.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, shutdown execution, contractor coordination, and material readiness.
• Knowledge of reliability practices such as PM effectiveness, condition monitoring, root cause analysis, and defect elimination.
• Budgeting, cost awareness, and expense management experience.
• Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance execution with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and crew accountability.
• Plan, coordinate, and delegate work across planned, break-in, and shutdown activities.
• Ensure risk assessments, JHAs, permits, and LOTO practices are completed before work begins.
• Coordinate maintenance with Operations, Planning, Reliability, Warehouse and contractors.
• Use SAP S/4HANA or CMMS to review work orders, confirm job readiness, and provide execution feedback.
• Support reliability improvement through defect identification and root cause analysis.
• Coach and develop tradespeople and apprentices while maintaining performance expectations.
• Contribute to budget and cost control through effective labour allocation and material coordination.
