Job summary

Skeena Gold + Silver Limited is seeking a Mill Maintenance Superintendent for the Eskay Creek Mine site in British Columbia. Lead a maintenance organization to implement robust programs, drive reliability, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will shape maintenance strategy, plan outages, and ensure alignment with production schedules and budgets while overseeing equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and mills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, trade qualification, or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Millwright, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive maintenance leadership experience within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial operations.
• Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning software, and reliability-centred maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CMMS structure and maintenance strategies to optimize reliability and uptime.
• Build and lead a high-performing maintenance team of supervisors, planners, and trades.
• Support start-up, commissioning, and ongoing operation of the mill; align with production and budgets.
• Promote safety, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder engagement across site.

Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Millwright
