Job summary

Centerra Gold's Mount Milligan Mine in British Columbia is seeking a Trades HVAC Technician to join our surface operation. Reporting to the Mill Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor, you will install, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and chiller systems across the mill and remote sites.

The role requires a Red Seal HVAC certificate, 3+ years mining experience, own tools, valid driver's license, and a proactive, safety-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Red Seal HVAC certificate required.
• 3+ years mining experience.
• Own hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.).
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• SAP or CMMS experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• HVAC system operation, installation techniques and refrigerant handling.
• Electrical faultfinding of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Actively participate in safety activities.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections.
• Repair equipment in the field or shop.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Clearly write reports detailing work performed and problems found.
• Performs any other responsibilities related to the HVAC Technician role as required or as assigned by the department head.
