Are you ready to lead impactful engineering work in a dynamic refinery environment? As the Lead Maintenance Engineer, you'll tackle complex technical challenges, provide mentorship, and drive maintenance excellence through innovative solutions and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support maintenance engineering tasks that vary both in type and complexity, including troubleshooting in-service equipment, developing Construction Work Packages (CWPs), and designing small-scale modifications and installations.
  • Provide technical guidance to tradespeople, planners, and coordinators, resolving equipment issues, obsolescence challenges, and supporting field and shop repairs.

  • Manage maintenance engineering backlog and performance metrics, ensuring timely development of technical solutions to minimize downtime while adhering to equipment integrity standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Equipment Integrity, Reliability Engineering, and Purchasing to meet asset performance requirements and identify improvement opportunities
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead assigned initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, foster a safety-first culture, and drive departmental goals toward maintenance excellence.

Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will work closely with several engineers and technicians in the areas of Reliability, Rotating Equipment, Maintenance, and Equipment Integrity on a team that prioritizes operational safety and plant reliability.

Who you are:

  • Have 8+ years of related maintenance engineering experience in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in a related field and a P.Eng designation, ideally with APEGS (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • Are familiar with equipment codes and standards associated with refinery assets.
  • Have experience developing Construction Work Packages, working within CMMS systems, and executing Management of Change processes.

What we offer:
