Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc is seeking a Rope Access Industrial Foreman to lead crews at a Fort McMurray, AB client site. The role requires IRATA Level 2/3 certification and a minimum of three years in rope access with supervisory experience.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure IRATA and site safety compliance, mentor crew members, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, reviewing timesheets and risk assessments, and participating in safety audits.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 2/3 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial rope access with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of rope access techniques, equipment and rescue procedures.
• Able to review/verify field docs (timesheets, safety paperwork, inspection records).
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact, coordinate site activities.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and training to team members.
• Review and approve timesheets and risk assessments; address deficiencies.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, and IRATA standards.
• Assist in investigations of near misses and incidents; implement corrective actions.
• Participate in safety, quality, and procedural audits.
• Lead toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices.
• Coordinate daily assignments and monitor progress; support site operations.
• Perform hands-on rope access work when qualified personnel are unavailable.
