Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc is recruiting skilled IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to support long term maintenance at our client site CNRL in Fort McMurray, AB. This role offers a 14/14 maintenance rotation, 11 hour shifts, and accommodations with flights provided from major Canadian city hubs.

You will perform inspections, rigging plans, hazard assessments, and safe rope access work, while mentoring Level 1 and 2 technicians.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 certification in good standing is required.
• Standard First Aid certification required.
• CSTS / OSSA Regional / ESC CSO / BSO required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract required.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Plan rigging setups ensuring safety per IRATA and site rules.
• Conduct pre-job hazard assessments and toolbox talks.
• Document work performed, inspections, and safety checks.
• Perform rescues and emergency response as required.
• Mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians in safe practices.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
