Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc. is seeking an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician to support the LNG site in Kitimat, BC. This role requires relocation and offers an hourly rate of $63.50, with 40 hours per week and potential overtime.

You will lead rope-access activities, perform inspections, rigging setups, and emergency response, while mentoring Level 1 and 2 technicians. Relocation assistance includes up to 3 months of temporary housing to help you transition.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required and in good standing.
• Strong understanding of rope access theory and rigging principles.
• Ability to lead and supervise Level 1 and 2 technicians.
• Proven safety, quality and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rope access activities are performed safely and in compliance with IRATA standards.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair work using rope access methods.
• Plan and execute rigging setups with safety and compliance.
• Conduct pre-job hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, and rescue plans.
• Maintain documentation of work performed, inspections, and safety checks.
• Perform rescues and emergency response procedures as required.
• Mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians and support continuous improvement.
