Qualifications

Over 18 years of electrical design experience in heavy industrial facilities.
Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
Extensive experience leading instrumentation and controls in mining or heavy industrial sectors.
Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems and process automation.

Responsibilities

Lead design and act as the senior SME on instrumentation and control systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities.
Oversee control philosophy, system architecture, and functional specifications for complex processes.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams for integrated solutions.
Drive innovation with automation, digitalization, and control technologies.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality reviews for project teams.
Support project execution from concept to commissioning and optimization.
Engage with clients to understand needs and deliver high-value engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
