Job summary

Gate Gourmet is seeking a Supervisor, Operations at our Dorval, QC location to oversee over 30 food production staff in a unionized environment. The role focuses on safety, HACCP compliance, quality assurance, and cost controls for labor and materials.

You will prepare management reports and ensure adherence to airline specifications and company policies. Your leadership will drive productivity, training, and performance management, collaborating with maintenance and HR to optimize unit

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and ability to supervise a 30+ employee team.
• Experience implementing HACCP and safety regulations in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production quality standards are followed and maintained.
• Supervise 30+ unionized employees in a high-volume food production setting.
• Prepare management reports (attendance, HACCP, labor) as required.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with customer specs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain temperature logs and other required records.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Control material costs and other controllable costs.
• Maintain productivity, overtime, and labor targets by shift.
• Lead staffing planning and shift assignments daily.
