Job summary

BBA Consultants seeks a project manager with 10–15 years in geotechnical engineering and tailings storage facility management. You will plan, coordinate and deliver multidisciplinary projects across Canada and, depending on the project, internationally, ensuring deadlines, budgets and safety standards are met.

The role combines project management, technical coordination and risk management with client relationship development, requiring strong English communication and, as an asset, French.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical project management or tailings facility management
• Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary projects including cost, schedule, scope, risk and quality control
• Strong knowledge of tailings storage facilities design, construction, operation, monitoring and closure
• Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, stability analyses and site investigations
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices for tailings facilities
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities with clients

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver multidisciplinary projects across Canada and internationally
• Define scope, schedules, budgets and resource requirements
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, partners and contractors
• Monitor progress, costs, risks and deliverable quality
• Prepare proposals and estimates; support business development with clients
• Mentor junior team members and promote project management best practices
