Job summary

Highstreet Ventures is seeking a full-time Working Foreman to lead self-performed carpentry scopes on a multi-family wood-frame project in Peachland, BC. You’ll supervise crews, manage safety, materials, and schedules with hands-on leadership (about 80% on site).

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in multi-family construction, Journeyman Carpenter, strong plan reading, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Teams/Bluebeam. Willingness to travel to Kelowna for head office meetings is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leadership experience in multi-family construction.
• Journeyman Carpenter (or equivalent skill set) with ability to manage multiple scopes of work.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction to crew on self-performed scopes and lead by example on site.
• Balance hands-on site work (~80%) with planning, coaching and administrative duties (~20%).
• Perform quality checks and coordinate material, tool and equipment needs before start.
