Job summary

Buildforth by Paradigm creates exceptional structures across British Columbia. We seek an experienced Foreperson to lead crews on active construction projects, combining daily site leadership, safety oversight, and hands-on carpentry to keep work moving.

The role requires 3–5 years of carpentry experience, 2+ years leading crews, and strong ability to read drawings and coordinate with trades. Competitive CAD-based pay, benefits, and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

Three to five years of carpentry or related construction experience.
Two or more years leading crews or supervising construction work.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and motivate employees, apprentices, subcontractors, and trades to complete daily priorities safely and efficiently.
Plan crew activities, assign work, coordinate with Superintendent or Project Manager on priorities and constraints.
Lead the receiving, layout, installation, alignment, bracing, fastening, and connection of prefabricated wall-panel and other panelling systems.
Coordinate panel deliveries, staging, lifting plans, crane activities, sequencing, and safe work zones.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, panel layouts, connection details, building plans, specifications, and project schedules.
Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet drawings, codes, specifications, and quality standards.
