Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in engineering, or natural/earth sciences.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contaminated site assessments and conceptual site models across numerous market sectors.
• Sound understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace with a safety-conscious attitude.
• Proven track record of business development and growth mindset; ability to create opportunities and deliver on project execution.

Responsibilities

• You participate in a team environment, work closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers.
• You are a leader in the contaminated sites space and will support the growth of our business through active client engagement and project delivery.
• You prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, compile data for, and write, reports including preparing conclusions and recommendations.
• You are responsible for project delivery, project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements
• You train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc. as well as on site specific health and safety.
• You interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals are moving forward - Work with other members of the team to ensure provision of the support necessary for completion of projects.
• Support the business objectives of growth in the Alberta market. Work closely with other project managers to develop a strategic business growth plan.
