Job summary

Worley Consulting is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist/Engineer in Canada to lead contaminated site assessments, remediation, and monitoring across Alberta and northern regions. Based in Edmonton or Calgary, you’ll guide field teams, support client engagement, and advance Worley’s liability management and restoration practice.

You’ll mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safe, high‑quality project delivery with strong technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Typically 7+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience focusing on contaminated sites assessment, remediation and monitoring.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with a professional organization (P.Eng., P.Geo., EP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental field programs including groundwater and surface water monitoring, soil sampling, drilling oversight and reclamation activities.
• Balance field leadership with project coordination and client support; deliver high‑quality results.
• Plan and execute Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments with design, oversight and reporting.
• Provide technical leadership on contaminated sites, remediation, and monitoring projects.
• Mentor junior staff and promote safe, compliant project execution.
