Job summary

Stantec is seeking Senior Environmental Planners/Project Managers to join our Assessment and Permitting team within Environmental Services, working in London, Waterloo, Markham, Hamilton, or Ottawa offices. You will deliver EA and permitting expertise across sectors and coordinate with clients and regulatory bodies.

The role requires 15+ years of project management experience in environmental programs, with strong writing and communication skills, and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• University degree in Environmental Planning or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
• Experience with EA processes, EIAs, and permits coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks and deliverables and assist with implementing the environmental assessment and permitting process as it applies to projects.
• Communicate and liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, the public, and internal teams.
• Write and coordinate proposals and reports tailored to project requirements.
• Oversee Environmental Programs and/or EIA-related tasks.
• Conduct desktop studies to support regulatory requirements for developments.
• Develop and implement stakeholder consultation programs.
