The Lead Engineer - Civil will play a critical role in driving engineering excellence, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, and supporting strategic project initiatives.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead civil engineering for major capital and infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and company standards.
  • Provide technical oversight of civil/structural designs, including site development, grading, drainage, utilities, foundations, roads, and building code compliance.
  • Support project delivery by contributing to planning, scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, and technical assurance to meet scope, budget, and schedule objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations, maintenance, multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to support design reviews, permitting, and project execution.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff while fostering a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide construction and field engineering support, including monitoring progress and quality, resolving technical issues, and ensuring environmental and sustainability requirements are met.
Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineering professionals and project specialists. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, continuous improvement, and safety. In this role, you’ll lead the engineering process for various projects - preparing technical reports, diagrams, and regulatory-aligned specifications; designing and delivering systems, technologies, and equipment; making short-term technical decisions; guiding junior team members; coordinating schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards across disciplines; conducting research to inform best practices; and ensuring all work aligns with safety guidelines and regulations.

Why it matters:

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation (or eligibility in Saskatchewan).
  • 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, ideally in major projects or industrial/infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with major capital projects such as carbon capture, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure developments is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of civil and structural design and engineering standards.
What we offer:
