Federated Co-operatives Limited is hiring a Project Manager on a permanent basis within the Major Projects Team. This on-site role is based in Regina, SK.

You will lead planning, delivery and governance of major capital projects, coordinating across engineering, procurement, and construction while mentoring teams and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of lead project experience in petroleum, refining or oil & gas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science or related field.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligible.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience overseeing engineering consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scopes, cost estimates, schedules, risk mitigation strategies and expenditures.
  • Oversee construction activities, contractor performance and regulatory compliance.

Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Project Manager on a permanent basis within the Major Projects Team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of major capital projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and expenditure requests while managing engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Oversee construction activities, contractor performance, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong stakeholder communication and project governance.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to project team members, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including documentation, turnover, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Team: You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, tradespeople, consultants, and contractors supporting major capital projects. This team strives to cultivate a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are
  • Have 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in the petroleum, refining, energy, or oil and gas industry leading medium to large-scale projects.
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related discipline (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Hold, or are eligible to obtain, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation recognized by APEGS or an equivalent provincial regulatory body.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management, construction management, risk management, and project execution capabilities.
  • Have experience managing engineering consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
