Job summary
Nutrien is seeking an experienced Electrical Projects Development Engineer in Alberta to lead electrical system projects across operating facilities. You will apply advanced electrical engineering expertise, guide junior engineers, and ensure safety and compliance while optimizing reliability and performance.
The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, P.Eng registration or immediate eligibility, and 12+ years in industrial settings with FEL processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical.
- P.Eng registration or immediately capable of registration with APEGA.
- 12+ years in industrial electrical engineering with experience in project development and FEL processes.
Responsibilities
- Apply specialized electrical engineering expertise to significantly influence operations.
- Serve as go-to person for less experienced engineers on complex electrical challenges.
- Lead task forces for electrical system optimization and improvement projects.
- Provide transformational guidance on electrical system design and operations.
- Develop engineering specifications and standards for electrical systems.
- Evaluate and recommend electrical technologies and equipment.
- Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers on technical practices.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in electrical system reliability.
