Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (Residential Coordinator) to assist the Program Director with coordinating services for individuals served, including finances, medical and recreation. You will mentor staff, ensure safety and personal growth, and support daily living tasks in a residential setting.

This full-time role offers starting pay of $15.00/hr, a $500 hiring bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Strong communication, reading and writing skills for documentation.
• Valid Driver's License; some roles may require own vehicle and auto-liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director with coordinating services for individuals served, including finance, medical, recreation and education.
• Maintain consistency in program implementation and communication with staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance to individuals.
• Support daily living tasks and ensure safety and personal growth of those served.

Job Description

What you get to do:

The Lead Direct Support Professional (Residential Coordinator) is responsible to assist the Program Director with the coordination of services to the individuals served, including finance, medical, recreation, program services, family contact/involvement, education, and household management. This position assists the Program Director in maintaining consistency in program implementation, individual care, and communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members, including the day or residential program. The lead direct support professional also carries out the duties of a direct support professional.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
