Job summary

Aramark is seeking a dynamic Lead Cook to join its food service team at Bell Helicopter in Mirabel, QC. The role supports the Chef, plans daily menus, and ensures quality and safety standards.

You will work Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., start immediately, and need a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle to reach the site. Competitive hourly wage of $25.00 with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in food service or restaurant industry.
• Diploma in Restaurant Management, Dietetic Technology, or Professional Cooking is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work with accuracy, organization, and autonomy.
• Strong leadership and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in planning and preparing the daily menu.
• Cook and prepare a variety of food items following standardized recipes and production guidelines.
• Perform cooking and finishing dishes according to established quality standards.
• Actively participate in daily food service operations.
• Deliver a professional, timely, and personalized service while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations.
• Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize food costs and labor utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all management, health, food safety, and sanitation programs, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of services provided.
• Participate in inventory counts and stock control.
• Supervise and support employees in collaboration with the Head Chef.
• Respond to operational needs and contribute to the smooth operation of the food service department.
• Participating in catering events as required; catering experience is considered an asset

Position: Lead Cook
